Onboarding Instructions
Feed access pre-requisites
- If you are a Custody Client/Advisor who would like to access this feed and receive branch-level data, your firm needs to first have a Data Share Authorization on file with GSAS. If you do not have this, please contact [email protected] to obtain and complete the necessary form.
- If you are an SMA Manager, your firm needs to have a Third-Party Agent Supplement and Authorization on file with GSAS. If you do not have this, please contact your GSAS Relationship Manager to obtain and complete the necessary form.
Step 1: Contact GSAS and request your firm’s accounts to be added to the Morningstar ByAllAccounts data feed.

- Contact your GSAS Relationship Manager for this request
- Include “SMA Data Feed Request” in the email subject line
- Ensure you cc [email protected] in your request email for increased visibility.
Step 2: Once the setup is complete, GSAS will provide you with your assigned Firm Routing Code. Then, if you would like to access branch-level data instead of firm-level data, please also source your Branch Code and share both of these values in step 3 as described in the GSAS Extended Branch Code field.
Step 3: Email [email protected] to request feed setup.
Required information
| Email Subject | "Goldman Sachs Advisor Solutions – Branch Access – SFTP – Feed Setup Request – Advisory Firm (Technology Platform Provider)" |
| Requestor Name | The first and last name of the individual requesting the feed setup. |
| Requestor Email Address | The email address of the individual requesting the setup. |
| Advisory Firm | The firm the requestor is associated with. |
| Technology Platform Provider | The platform receiving data via ByAllAccounts on behalf of the firm. This could be a portfolio management platform, financial planning software, CRM, etc. It might also be referenced as third party partner or redistributor. |
| GSAS Extended Branch Code | This unique authorization ID allows ByAllAccounts download associated branch-level accounts. This code is composite of the following GSAS internal identifiers: FirmRoutingCode-BranchCode (e.g. ABCD-WXYZ) |
| ByAllAccounts User Email Address | The email address for the BAA user who will use the feed credentials to aggregate accounts after setup. This email will receive the feed password in step 4. |
Step 4: Once the setup is complete, GSAS will notify ByAllAccounts. ByAllAccounts will complete the final configurations and share the feed password.

Step 5: Enter feed credentials in AccountView and aggregate accounts.

- Username: GSAS Extended Branch Code
- Password: Shared by ByAllAccounts via email in step 4
