Users not registered at Merrill Lynch with managing discretion over accounts will require the account holder(s) to complete a Letter of Authorization (LOA). ML will assist with this process.

Step 1: Email Merrill Lynch (ML) Data Feeds at [email protected] to request a new data transmission to Morningstar ByAllAccounts for a GCS (Global Custody Systems) Client Number.

Ensure you cc your Merrill Lynch Financial Representative and [email protected] in your request email for increased visibility.

Additional Details

ML will require all users to complete an 'Authorization Form – Electronic Data Feed'. Please include the following details:
- Data Aggregator: Morningstar ByAllAccounts
- Address: 22 W. Washington, Chicago, IL 60622
- Relationship: Indicates how the person or entity requesting the data feed is connected to the account holder(s). For example, if the requester is the owner of the account, the relationship would be listed as “individual”.
- Phone Number: 866-856-4951
- E-Mail: [email protected]
The Authorization Form instructs Merrill Lynch to provide the specified account data to the recipient(s) via the data aggregator, Morningstar ByAllAccounts.
To protect sensitive account information, the emailed document must be password protected.

Step 2: Once completed, ML Data Feeds will issue a GCS Client Number to the requesting Advisor/Firm (to be used to configure accounts at ByAllAccounts).

Step 3: Submit the Feed Setup Form in AccountView.

Step 4: ByAllAccounts will complete the final configurations and share the feed password.

ByAllAccounts SalesForce Case Number	This is the reference number you will have received to track your request after completing step 3.

Step 5: Enter feed credentials in AccountView and aggregate accounts.

Feed credential details

Username: GCS Client Number
Password: Shared by ByAllAccounts via email in step 4
If you have more than one GCS Client Number, you need to create multiple credentials. These will share the same password unless noted otherwise.
