Who is CI SaaS Migration for?
- This migration is for customers who currently use our Custodial Integrator Universal desktop application and want to continue to extract financial data and export it in files formatted in our Universal (generic) format.
How do I know if I am using CI Desktop Universal?
- Open Custodial Integrator on your desktop. On the top left, select Help > About CI to display information about your CI version. It should state, “Custodial Integrator for Universal”.
Why is CI SaaS being offered?
- Custodial Integrator Desktop for Universal is being replaced by Custodial Integrator Software as a Service (CI SaaS), an enhanced export capability within AccountView (AV). CI SaaS eliminates the hassle of maintaining desktop software, and provides performance and scalability enhancements for your organization.
What is the timeline of sundowning Custodial Integrator Desktop for Universal?
- Migrations are mandatory in 2025, and CI Desktop will be sunset in 2026.
How do I get scheduled for a migration?
- You will work with the ByAllAccounts Support team to schedule your migration date. If you have not already done so, please complete this brief survey, to provide the information needed for scheduling your migration. I'm running version 3.13.001 of the CI Desktop application. Will the migration utility work for this version?
- The migration utility was built to support versions of CI desktop no older than V3.16. If you have an older version of CI desktop, we recommend upgrading prior to the migration, to ensure that the migration utility is able to successfully extract the translation and configuration files.
How do I perform the migration?

When I attempt to run the export utility (runExportUtility.bat) in Step 4 of the migration, I receive a message indicating that my system prevented it from running, what should I do?
- Contact your IT Administrator for assistance.
