Fidelity IWS - FTP Access

This feed service supports Fidelity’s Institutional Wealth Services (IWS) brokerage accounts and is configured to allow Morningstar ByAllAccounts to retrieve account information. Accounts custodied under this platform consist of nine-digit account numbers.

Feed access pre-requisites

Advisors must have an established registered relationship with Fidelity and complete a Third-Party Transmission Request to authorize the release of the requested G Number(s) to ByAllAccounts.

The following entitlements are required within Fidelity Integration Xchange:

“Integration Xchange_OutboundTransmissionsRulesManagement” entitlement

“Integration Xchange Admin Outbound Transmission Rules Management” entitlement

If you do not have permission to add a rule, please contact your firm administrator to have these entitlements added to your profile. Alternatively, you may work with an individual at your firm who already has the required access to complete Steps 1 and 2 on your behalf.

If your Fidelity accounts are assigned through a firm that maintains the supervisory relationship with Fidelity, you will need to coordinate with that firm or home office to complete Steps 1 and 2.

Step 1: Log onto Fidelity Wealthscape website and go to the Fidelity Integration Xchange.

Step 2: Add New Outbound Transmission Rule in Fidelity Integration Xchange for ByAllAccounts:

Data Masking:
Consult with your platform provider if client profile data is needed. Fidelity's add rule form will default to set data masking options as 'No'. Only change to 'Yes' if your platform provider doesn't need this data for account to client portfolio mapping.

Digital form instructions

In Wealthscape, select Menu > Resources > Fidelity Integration Xchange
In Fidelity Integration Xchange, select My Firm's Integrations > Outbound Transmission Rules
- Select "Add Rule" at the bottom of the page
- Select "BYALLACCOUNTS/MORNINGSTAR (180)" from the ENTITY NAME drop-down menu
- Enter your G Number in the Header and G Number fields. Enter the G number exactly as assigned by Fidelity. You MUST enter 'G' followed by the whole 8-digit number with no space. For example: G12345678
- Data Masking: Leave data masking options set to 'No'. Do not select 'Yes' for Data Masking.

- Complete form and select Confirm

Step 3: Submit the Feed Setup Form in AccountView.

Step 4: ByAllAccounts will complete the final configurations and share the feed password.

ByAllAccounts SalesForce Case Number	This is the reference number you will have received to track your request after completing step 3.

Step 5: Enter feed credentials in AccountView and aggregate accounts.

Feed credential details

Username: G Number (Enter your G Number in the Header and G Number fields. Enter the G number exactly as assigned by Fidelity. You MUST enter 'G' followed by the whole 8-digit number with no space. For example: G12345678)
Password: Shared by ByAllAccounts via email in step 4
If you have more than one G Number, you need to create multiple credentials. These will share the same password unless noted otherwise.
