RBC Clearing & Custody (C&C) - SFTP
FI ID: 96805, formerly known as RBC Correspondent Services (Broker-Dealer Firms) and RBC Advisor Services (RIA Firms)
Money Managers with accounts in the following business channels may use this direct feed. Please submit a request for feed setup through the proper channels.
Feed access prerequisites
- This feed supports account numbers that begin with a 7, 8, or 9
- Corresponding Broker Dealer (B/D) or RIA firm will confirm eligibility.
Onboarding Instructions
RBC Clearing & Custody (C&C) Accounts
Step 1: Advisors/Reps associated with a Broker Dealer (B/D) or RIA firm must contact the corresponding firm to initiate the request to get setup on the Morningstar ByAllAccounts feed.
Step 2: The corresponding firm must contact the RBC C&C Data Transmission Team at [email protected] to request data to be added to the Morningstar ByAllAccounts feed.
- Please cc [email protected] in your request email for increased visibility.
- RBC will require the corresponding firm to complete a data transmission authorization form. Please include the following details:
- Section 1: Request Type New
- Section 2: Submitter Information Please fill in your Firm information

Section 3: Vendor or Third-party information
- Contact name: ByAllAccounts Custodial Operations Team
- Contact email: [email protected]
- Data Destination/Vendor: Morningstar ByAllAccounts
- End Recipient / Additional Information: Enter the name of your platform provider. If you are integrated directly with ByAllAccounts, leave this blank.

Section 4: Access level for data files
- Indicate which accounts should be included in this feed by selecting specific account numbers, a Rep level, a Branch code, or a Firm. When you select a Rep, Branch, or Firm, all accounts associated with that ID/code will automatically be added to the feed. You may choose more than one option as needed (e.g., selecting one Branch code and a Rep level outside that Branch).
Step 3: RBC C&C will setup the data under a new Folder ID and provide a confirmation to the requesting firm and ByAllAccounts.
Step 4: Submit the Feed Setup Form in AccountView.

Step 5: ByAllAccounts will complete the final configurations and share the feed password.

Step 6: Enter feed credentials in AccountView and aggregate accounts.
Feed credential details
- Username: Folder ID
- Password: Shared by ByAllAccounts via email in step 4
- Use of automatic account management (AAM) is recommended with this feed. You can do so by selecting the check box that reads "Let the system automatically manage the accounts on this credential." right below the credential entry fields in AccountView.
- If you have more than one Folder ID, you need to create multiple credentials. These will share the same password unless noted otherwise.

Additional Feed Information
To add additional accounts to an existing FTP ID, RBC will require you to complete a data transmission request form. Please include the following details:
- Section 1: Request Type Request change to existing
- Section 2: Submitter Information Your Firm Information

- Include your existing FTP_ID
- End Recipient / Additional Information: Enter the name of your platform provider. If you are integrated directly with ByAllAccounts, leave this blank.
