Capital Group’s Website Update & Impact on Linked Accounts:

Capital Group American Funds will only support third-party access for individual investor accounts through an open banking connection when they launch their new website.  In order to use the open banking connection, users must be enrolled in Capital Group American Funds’ updated website.

Capital Group American will be rolling out the new experience to investors in phases over the coming months. To learn more about the Capital Group website launch, please click here.

If you’d like to link your accounts using the ByAllAccounts open banking connection before you have been sent an enrollment invitation, please contact the Capital Group American Funds support team at (800) 421-4225 for assistance.

Once your account has been upgraded, either automatically or by request, you’ll need to complete the enrollment process for the new site experience. After enrollment, you can then reauthenticate your accounts for aggregation.
